FAISALABAD (GL NEWS)– No recruitment is being done in the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO).

The FESCO spokesperson Muhammad Saeed Raza said that the recruitment advertisement circulating on social media by a fake company called Join-OTS is bogus. He urged the public and job seekers not to submit applications to fake or self-made companies, avoid false advertisements, and refrain from paying any kind of fee.

False Job Posts Circulated by Fraud Mafia on Social Media

He said that a recruitment advertisement has gone viral on social media, posted by a fraud mafia, for vacant posts in 36 different categories ranging from scale 9 to 16. The fraudsters have set a fee of one thousand fifty (1,050) rupees for each application. He added that this viral advertisement has no connection with FESCO.

He said that advertisements issued by FESCO for recruitment are officially published in national newspapers as well as on the FESCO website. He further stated that simple-minded people are being misled by fake advertisements on Facebook claiming to recruit thousands of individuals.

FESCO Urges Public to Stay Alert Against Scams

He appealed to the public to be cautious of such fraudulent and misleading elements. He advised not to apply for any suspicious advertisement without proper verification and not to pay any fee.

The FESCO administration has warned that in the case of any fake company or advertisement, the individual involved will be held responsible for any monetary transactions made in the name of FESCO recruitment. The FESCO administration will not be held accountable in such cases.
