Columbus, Ohio – Two men from the Houston area are in custody in Columbus, Ohio, on charges of human trafficking and compelling prostitution of a minor.
The FBI confirmed that four victims, including a juvenile, were rescued.
Larry Hill, 26, of Houston, and Timarrea Granderson, 27, of Cypress, are awaiting extradition to Texas to face charges.
The investigation began when the FBI’s Houston office and the Texas Department of Public Safety notified Ohio authorities about a missing juvenile trafficking victim believed to be in Columbus.
Swift Law Enforcement Action
On March 13, the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force and Columbus police arrested Granderson and rescued one victim. That evening, Hill was taken into custody after barricading himself inside a Columbus residence, where two additional victims were found.
A fourth victim was rescued at another location.
The arrests occurred at an Airbnb rental, shocking local residents. A neighbor expressed relief, saying, “Thank you, Jesus, you got them because you don’t do that to kids.”
The property owner, Kyle Collette, stated that the suspects had rented the home for less than a day before their arrest.
He praised law enforcement for their quick action.
