San Antonio – Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot while walking on the Northwest Side late at night.

The incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday in the 1400 block of Pasadena Street, near Interstate 10.

According to San Antonio police, a 34-year-old man was walking along Pasadena when a vehicle approached him.

Someone inside called him over. As he got closer, a person in the vehicle opened fire.

The suspect’s vehicle sped away, leaving the victim injured. Emergency responders transported him to the hospital.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities are investigating the shooting and searching for those involved.
