A homicide investigation is underway following the fatal shooting of an InfoWars reporter outside his apartment complex in Austin, Texas, according to police.
The victim, 36-year-old Jamie White, was discovered lying in the parking lot at approximately 11:56 p.m. on Sunday, Austin police reported. InfoWars is headquartered in Austin.
Authorities believe the suspects may have been attempting to burglarize White’s vehicle when he confronted them.
After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene, police said.
In a statement on X, Jones wrote, “We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.”
