Faisalabad: The Chak Jhumrah police have solved a previously unsolved murder case, demonstrating that crime ultimately does not pay.
Unidentified Body Discovered
Police reported that a few days ago, an unclaimed body riddled with bullets was discovered near the Jhandanwala railway crossing.
Swift Police Response and Identification
Upon receiving the information, local police officers immediately went to the scene, took the body into custody, and launched an investigation. Through their inquiries, officers identified the deceased as Khalid Mehmood.
Special Team Formed for Investigation
Following this tragic incident, City Police Officer Bilal Umar established a special team to apprehend the perpetrators.
Meticulous Investigation Leads to Arrests
This team, led by SP Madina Town and comprising SDPO Nishatabad, SHO Chak Jhumrah, and Incharge CIA Siddique Cheema, began their work and diligently pursued all leads to locate the criminals. Employing both traditional and modern investigative methods, the team successfully arrested three suspects.

The investigation revealed that Bilal and his two accomplices had devised a devious plan in collusion with Khalid Mehmood’s wife, Kiran.
Justice to be Served
Legal proceedings against the accused are now in progress, and the culprits will face the consequences of their actions, police stated.
