FAISALABAD: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad has shown the door to six policemen, including two inspectors, for dereliction of duty.
A departmental inquiry was underway into the killing of three brothers and the injury of another inside the Sadar Tandlianwala Police Station lockup.
RPO Zeeshan Asghar’s Review and Dismissal Order
Upon the conclusion of the inquiry, RPO Zeeshan Asghar, conducted an orderly room at the Regional Police Office, where he reviewed findings of the inquiry, and found them guilty of negligence.
Taking a hard line on misconduct, RPO dismissed the policemen.

The policemen who have been shown the door are: former SHO City Tandlianwala, inspector Basharat Ali, former in-charge investigation City Tandlianwala, inspector Imran Sarwar, former SHO City Tandlianwala, sub-inspector Parvaiz Khalid, former SHO Sadar Tandlianwala, sub-inspector Mubashir Hussain, former head Moharrar City Tandlianwala, head constable Naeem Hassan and former head Moharrar Sadar Tandlianwala, head constable Nauman Ali.
Zeeshan Asghar said that corrupt, ill-mannered, and negligent officers have no place in the ranks. He said that the accountability process will continue, ensuring that officers demonstrating exceptional performance will be rewarded.
He categorically said that policemen who tarnish the image of the police department will face the music.
