The high-resolution cameras are designed to automatically scan vehicle number plates, log data into a central database, and instantly flag stolen or suspicious vehicles.
This real-time intelligence significantly enhances crime detection and response efficiency, allowing law enforcement to act swiftly.
Authorities have confirmed that these cameras will operate continuously, ensuring immediate intervention in case of suspicious activities.
Additionally, Moga Police plans to install facial recognition cameras at major intersections and high-alert zones. These systems will help identify wanted criminals and fugitives with greater accuracy.
To further enhance security, all Police Control Room (PCR) and Emergency Vehicle Response (EVR) units have been outfitted with GPS tracking systems.
