HOUSTON, Texas – A man was taken into custody at Houston Premium Outlets after reportedly causing a scene inside a store and assaulting a customer.

Authorities identified the suspect as Hunter Reuss, who was arrested on assault charges.

His mugshot, taken after the arrest, shows him smiling despite having blood running down his nose from an apparent injury.

Deputies responded to reports of a disturbance at the mall, located at 29300 Northwest Freeway, around 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday.

By the time officers arrived, Reuss had already left the store and was found creating chaos in the parking lot.

Investigators determined that Reuss had physically attacked a shopper without provocation, causing pain and visible injuries.

Further checks revealed that he had an outstanding felony warrant related to drug charges.

Reuss was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail on assault charges. His bond was set at $100.
