FAISALABAD: The Governor Punjab and Chancellor of University of Agricultural Faisalabad (UAF) has appointed five senior faculty members as deans of various faculties.
According to notifications issued by the Secretary of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Imran Pasha, Director General of the National Institute of Food Science and Technology, has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Food, Nutrition, and Home Sciences, Professor Dr. Waqas Wakeel, Director of the Professional Training and Skill Development Center, will serve as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahid Mehmood, Director of the Institute of Microbiology, will lead the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Imran Arshad from the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Professor Dr. Amir Jamil from the Department of Biochemistry has been named Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.
The new deans have been widely recognized both nationally and internationally for their strong research contributions and educational services.
UAF Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Zulfiqar Ali congratulated the newly appointed deans, expressing confidence that under their leadership, the respective faculties will achieve new milestones in research and teaching.
