Bacliff Auto Dealership Employees Arrested in $130K Fraud Scheme

BACLIFF, Texas – Three employees of a Bacliff car dealership are now behind bars after being accused of running a six-figure fraud scheme that deceived multiple customers.

The Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force (ACTF), working with the League City Police Department and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), wrapped up a three-month investigation into Bacliff Auto, a used car dealership located at 510 Grand Ave, Bacliff, on March 25, 2025.

Investigators found that the dealership’s owner-operators had scammed at least 15 customers by selling vehicles without disclosing existing liens.

The suspects, identified as Eduardo Delgadillo (37), Noraly Oropeza (35), and Daniel Delgadillo (19), were arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

Each is being held on a $100,000 bond.

According to the Texas DMV, the fraudulent scheme resulted in losses of around $130,000.
