LAHORE – SP Aisha Butt from Gujranwala has made Pakistan proud by earning international recognition for her outstanding police service, Punjab Police announced on Wednesday.

The International Association of Women Police (IAWP) has chosen SP Aisha Butt for the Excellence in Performance Award 2025.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, SP Aisha Butt, currently serving as City Traffic Police Officer in Gujranwala, will receive the prestigious award at the 62nd IAWP Annual Training Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, in September 2025.

The IAWP honors police officers worldwide for their exceptional contributions to law enforcement.

Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated Aisha Butt on her selection, stating that her achievement is a moment of pride for Pakistani women in law enforcement.
